At the present time, our collection and archiving efforts focus on three specific areas.

Currently includes the Zhengtong daozang 正統道藏 (in PDF format), Dunhuang daozang 敦煌道藏, Daozang jiyao 道藏輯要, Daozang jinghua lu 道藏精華錄, Zangwai daoshu 藏外道書, Zhonghua daozang 中華道藏, and Zhonghua xu daozang 中華續道藏. Planned acquisitions include the Daozang jinghua 道藏精華, Daoshu jicheng 道書集成, Daozang xubian 道藏續編, Sandong shiyi 三洞拾遺, Zhuang-Lin xu daozang 莊林續道藏, and Zhengtong daozang 正統道藏 (in print format).

· Daoist Material Culture Archive. Collection of contemporary Daoist monastic materials. Currently includes texts, vestments, ritual implements, statuary, stele rubbings, paintings and liturgical recordings.

· American Daoism Archive. Collection of materials related to “American Daoism,” including the full-spectrum of the religious and cultural phenomenon. Primary holdings include popular journals and newsletters, general-audience and popular publications, self-published books, paintings, diagrams, and webpages.

Our long-term goal is to have a complete library of Daoist materials in North America, which will include a fulfillment center to supply individuals with difficult-to-obtain materials.

· Recent Contributions. We are deeply grateful to Professor Jiang Sheng 姜生 and the Institute of Religion, Science and Social Studies of Shandong University for donating the Zangwai daoshu 藏外道書 (Daoist Books Outside the Canon) to the Daoist Studies Archive.

Please help support research and education on the Daoist tradition by making a tax deductible donation.
